The last few months have been a busy time for Extreme, and we’re not slowing down. Over the last year, we acquired Zebra’s WLAN business and Avaya’s networking business, and announced the intent to purchase Brocade's data center networking business.
At the core of this activity is one simple vision: to be the only company in the world exclusively focused on delivering the highest quality end-to-end, wired and wireless enterprise IP networking. As a result, we are now the third largest competitor in our target enterprise markets, with the potential to capture even more market share from industry leading competitors like Cisco and HPE. At the end of the day, it comes down to having the technology, strategies and tactics in place that will drive success for partners and customers, and these acquisitions are proof points to that.
